The Association was formed with the primary objective of raising
funds to provide extra facilities which
are not normally provided by The Association plays an important part in the life of the school and
organises events which are well attended, raise money and are good fun! These include the Bonfire Night BBQ party,
Summer Soiree (Senior girls leaving ball with dinner and auction) and a
Strawberry Fair on Sports Day. We also
have many other fund raising events throughout the year for example PTA members
run the 2nd hand uniform ‘shop,’ organise Bag2School collections and
organise the very popular Christmas Hamper Raffle. PTA meetings are usually held once or twice per term to discuss issues,
future events and ways of using the available funds. An AGM is held each year to elect principal
officers and all parents are invited to volunteer for the various
positions. All new parents are warmly
welcomed to the Association when their children enter school. Chair
